Abstract

Surface (0-15 cm) soil samples were collected from thirty village of Nagra block for to study the status of soil properties for crop suitability. Soil samples were found in category of low status of available phosphorus, medium status of available nitrogen and potassium. Physical, physico-chemical and chemical parameters were found in greater variation among the village. The organic carbon status was found in the category of medium, available sulphur content in different village soils have showed in low to medium range and free CaCO3 was also in considerable range. Similarly, the physic-chemical parameters such as pH and E.C. were in not unsuitable range and their value ranged for crop cultivation. Bulk density, water holding capacity were found in suitable range but need to maintain at that level.
