Abstract


This paper investigates rotatory vibration of orthotropic spherical shell of inner radius a and outer radius b, b a. Considering the density  of the material of the shell in the form n 0 r  and the elastic constants  n ....... 2,1 j ,i t ......... t t c n n n' ij 2 2 '' ij ' ij ij ij             where 0  and s' ij  are constants and n is an integer. The frequency equation of the shell has been derived and graphs have been plotted for discussion of wave so propagated in this case.
